PRESS RELEASE
Dropbeats Successfully Participated in CharIN V2G Testival Europe 2025 in Germany
Shanghai, China — October 18, 2025 — Dropbeats Technology, a global leader in EV-charging communication solutions, successfully participated in the CharIN V2G Testival Europe 2025 held in Germany. As the only Chinese vendor invited to this prestigious interoperability event, Dropbeats demonstrated full compliance and seamless interoperability with global leaders including Mercedes-Benz, Vector, BOSCH, and Keysight Technologies, along with other major automotive and infrastructure partners.
Organized by the Charging Interface Initiative (CharIN), the event gathered over 100 international participants — including OEMs, charge-point operators, component manufacturers, and testing institutions — to validate Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) communication and interoperability under real-world conditions in accordance with ISO 15118-20.
During the testing sessions, Dropbeats showcased its complete portfolio of EV communication controllers, including the DB-EVCC-560 for electric vehicles, the DB-SECC-601 for DC charging stations, and the DB2605 for AC charging applications. All three controllers achieved excellent interoperability results, completing successful Plug & Charge (PnC) and bidirectional V2G communication tests with multiple European EV and charger manufacturers.
Powered by Qualcomm’s advanced communication chipsets, Dropbeats’ controllers deliver secure, high-speed, and reliable connectivity between electric vehicles and charging stations. The successful test results reaffirm Dropbeats’ leadership in ISO 15118-20-compliant solutions and its strong technical capability in smart, AI-driven energy management.
“We are proud to represent China as the only domestic participant at CharIN’s V2G Testival Europe,” said Michael Jiang, Chairman of Dropbeats Technology. “Collaborating with global partners such as Mercedes, Vector, BOSCH, and Keysight demonstrates our commitment to advancing ISO 15118-20-based interoperability and shaping the future of intelligent charging.”
Through this successful participation, Dropbeats continues to strengthen its role in the international EV-charging ecosystem, driving innovation in Plug & Charge, V2G, and AC/DC communication technologies that enable a smarter and more sustainable mobility future.
